Often referred to as a “forgotten population,”  senior citizens need reliable quality care, and companionship to reduce the risk of suicide. According to a 2019 NPR report, seniors made up more than 18% of the 47,000 suicides in 2017.

In addition, the 2019 Youth Risk Behavior Survey compiled by the Virginia Department of Health, revealed the staggering increase in plans of middle school-aged youth to kill themselves between 2013 and 2019. These statistics are heart-breaking and Elderlescent Care is on the front lines of creating life-changing experiences that best serve both populations and work to save lives.

We invite you to make a difference and maximum impact with us. Our unique programming builds a cadre of adolescent entrepreneurs through innovative community service opportunities, partnerships and special initiatives with local school districts, and Big Brother and Lunch Buddy programs that provide youth and young adults exposure to the senior care industry and entrepreneurial possibilities.

Our goal is to raise $50,000.00 to jumpstart our efforts and this is your chance to join our mission as we bridge the health care disparity gap and mend the breach between two special generations. In addition to monetary donations, we are seeking dedicated volunteers who will give of your time and talents. These two populations need us and we need them.

Will you join us today and be the difference you want to see?

Your giving makes a dynamic impact on our community and in the lives of those we serve.

Thank you in advance for joining us on the frontlines as we break barriers of separation and build bridges of hope.
